Memorial Description

Plaque 2 feet 6 inches high x 2 feet wide (762mm x 609mm) on an oak pattress. There is a double line border which culminate in a fleur-de-lys in each corner. At centre top is a scroll bearing the words "Roll of Honour". The names are listed in two columns. Lettering is in Roman upper and lower case.

Notes

1. The plaques from this church are now in the village hall at Felton. Beside them is a brass plaque which reads:
Felton / United Reformed / Church.
These memorial plaques were / relocated here after the closure of / Felton United Reford Church, West / Thirston/ on January 10th 2016. / They record both those from the / West Thirston Congregation who / fought in the Great War (1914- / 1918) and those who gave their / lives.
