Dedication, Creation or Publication date

Unveiled at opening of the Institute on 3rd March 1923 by T.O. Wood, agent to the Cramlington Coal Co., in place of John Morrison, Managing Director of the Cramlington Coal Co. who was sick. Dedicated by Rev. H.P. Cutter of Horton.

Memorial Description

Plaque and surround, 37 inches high x 26 inches wide. The dedication is on the panel at the top, with the dates "1914" and "1918" at the top of pilasters on either side. The names listed in two columns, the lettering painted in gilt Roman capitals.
