Memorial Description
Stained glass window 8 feet high x 4 feet 8 inches wide of three lights with traceried top.
The centre light shows the risen Christ with a soldier at his feet, and the words “I am the Resurrection and the Life” below.
In the left hand light is St. Gabriel, and in the right hand light is St. Michael, the two outer windows typifying War and Peace.
The dedication is carried along the bottom of all three windows using Gothic black lettering with gold initials.

Notes
1. The parish website bears a Roll of Honour compiled by Rev. Michael J. Peers with details of names and further information. This contains names and ranks from Langley Park, Quebec and Esh, for 1914-18 including a photo of three unnamed soldiers, 1939-45, Korea 1950-53, and Northern Ireland 1974.
2. The initials "A.M.D.G." stand for the Latin "Ad Maiorem Gloriam Dei" which translates as "To the greater glory of God".
3. John Keavney on the window is 12514 Lance Corporal John Keaveny, 1st Battalion Irish Guards who was killed in action 8/05/1918. Soldiers Died has him a resident of Old Esk Village.
