Unveiled 26th July 1921 by Rev. E.J. Beech, president and Roman Catholic priest of Newhouse, Esh Winning.

Memorial Description

Plaque, with dome at centre top resting on an oak pattress which echoes the shape. The main panel has a seated female figure at the top, raised in half relief, with the name of the club on either side.
The central part is shield shape and carries the names of those who died in two columns. Up each side is a pilaster which bears the names of those who served in a single column on each, with the words “The following also served” at the top.
At the foot, running right across the bottom, is a scroll bearing the quotation.
All lettering is in raised Roman script.
