Unveiled 1st December 1923 by Mr. Peter Lee.

Memorial Description

Plaque 4 feet 6 inches high x 3 feet 7 inches wide, very plain, with raised border. The dates are incised into the wide frame at the bottom. The central panel bears the names incised and coloured brown using sans serif capitals throughout.

Notes

1. In 1981 a move was made to have the memorial more accessible to the public, using funds left over from the Queen’s Silver Jubilee celebrations.
