Plaque 8 inches high x 1 foot wide set on wood pattress 1 inch wider all round. There is a single line border. The lettering is in raised Roman capitals.
Below is a small plaque 2 inches high x 4 inches wide giving the story of the plaque.

3rd King’s Own Hussars
Member and Sunday School
Teacher in this church who
died a prisoner of war in the
Far East 26th October 1944
aged 24 years
