Memorial Description

Stained glass windows of two lights. The left hand light depicts St. George, the right hand light shows the Holman Hunt picture of Jesus as the Light of the World.
This is accompanied by a brass plaque 20 inches high x 30 inches wide (508mm x 762mm) set in a wood frame 8 inches (208mm) wider. There is a wide border of swirling pattern culminating in enamelled cross in each corner. Names are listed in three columns. Lettering is in Roman capitals, which are elongated for the dedication.

This window is dedicated to the glory of God and / is placed here to the imperishable memory of / those connected with this church and Sunday school / who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1918.
