Unveiled 18th September 1921 by Dr.Wild, Bishop of Newcastle.

Memorial Description

Five panels, each with traceried and gilded decoration. Above these is the dedication in raised Roman capitals with “minute serifs” on the cross piece. Above the third panel is a crucifix. The names are listed in a single column on the five panels using Roman lettering with a cross above and below each column. The quotation is carried across all five panels in raised Roman capitals with “minute serifs” in sunken rectangles.
