Memorial Description
Chair.
The back is divided by the shape of a cross into panels. In the top left panel is a floral design, in the top right panel is the regimental crest, both carved in half relief. Beneath the seat is a drawer with a lock.
At centre back is a small plaque 3 inches high x 4 inches wide (76mm x 102mm) bearing the dedication. There is a raised single line border which makes a cruciform pattern round the screw heads. Lettering is incised using sans serif capitals throughout.
