The school is now demolished. The tablet was hidden away in the belfry room of St. John’s Church in 1992.

Unveiled 12th May 1923 by Lieut. Col. Fisher; dedicated by Rev. A.S. Thompson.

Memorial Description

Roll of Honour 2 feet 6 inches high x 2 feet wide (762 mm x 508 mm) in a similar frame to D4.49. “Beautifully illuminated”. Frame is 4 feet high x 2 feet 9 inches wide (1.13 mm x 827 mm) . In the pediment is a shield with scroll on either side raised in half relief. On the main panel, there is a picture at centre top, presumably of the school, surrounded by flags, and scenes of naval battle on either side. The names are handwritten in eight columns.
