Memorial Description

Hanging rood.
Plaque 7 feet high x 7 feet 5 inches long x 4 inches thick (2.13m x 2.26m x 101mm). There are four service badges in full colour in the tracery along the top. At bottom right and bottom left are two panels each bearing a badge in a shield; between them is a sunken panel bearing the dedication. The main panel is divided into four sunken panels with traceried tops. Names are listed in a single column on each in gilded Roman capitals.
There is a shelf 10 inches (254mm) deep.

Notes

1. At the unveiling the address was given by Captain T.A. Bradford, the only one of four brothers who survived.

2. The Bradford family gave the church a donation of £1,000 towards the costs of removing pew rentals.

3. In front of the church is an avenue of remembrance of flowering cherry trees.
