Memorial Description

Roll of Honour 736mm (29 inches) high x 1.29m ( 51inches) wide with dome at centre top. The outer frame is carved with leaves in half relief. Inside the dome is a fleur de lys with the words “Roll of Honour” and the dates in marquetry. The main panel is divided into five panels by marquetry vertical lines. The central column contains the names of those who died inside a border. The names of those who served are listed in the outer four columns. The words “In memoriam” and “Their name liveth for evermore are carried on a ribbon carved in half relief at centre bottom. The lettering is incised and blackened using Roman capitals throughout.
