Memorial Description

Reredos comprised of three panels in upper and lower halves on either side of the altar. Those to the right of the altar bear the dedication on the frame dividing the upper and lower sections, and the names themselves are carried in a single column below a cross carved on each of the panels. The lettering throughout is incised in Roman capitals.

A History of Blaydon District" by J. Maughan, was serialised in the "Blaydon Courier" about 1955-6, and which is available as a collection of newspaper cuttings in the Newcastle Central Library.
