Memorial Description
Plaque 2 feet high x 3 feet wide on red marble pattress. The plate bears a border of thistle leaves and flowers. In the top left hand corner is a plain cross, raised and burnished, which is partly overlaid by the lettering of the dedication. Lettering is in raised elongated Roman capitals. Above the inscription is a coat of arms, presumably of the family, and below is the badge of the Scots Guards.
