Dedicated 8th April 1921 by the Bishop of Durham.

Memorial Description

Single lancet window depicting Christ wearing the crown of thorns standing with a finger pointing. Below Him in Gothic script is the text “I am the light of the world”. The dedication is carried at the foot of the window in Gothic script.

Inscription

To the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of
William James Best, died 14th Oct 1918 and
his son Philip, killed in France 23rd April 1917.
