Memorial Description

Plaque, divided into three panels, the central one standing forward of the two wings which slope backwards. The centre top has dentil decoration. The dedication is in gilt lettering in the top centre. The dates “1914” and “1918” are at the top hand left and right respectively. The place names are carried in a single column on all three panels. Details of the presentation are centre bottom. The lettering is in sans serif capitals throughout.
The whole stands on a brick ledge, and looks as though it might have been made to fit the width of the ledge.

Wood, highly lacquered.
