Memorial Description

Plaque 5 feet high x 2 feet wide in an oak frame 1.5 inches wide. At centre top is the Freemen’s seal. There is a single line raised border round the edge which also divides the plaque into two separate compartments. It would appear that the plaque has been adjusted not only to take the names from 1939-45 but also to accommodate four more from 1914-18. The names are listed in two columns. All lettering is in raised Roman capitals throughout.
