Memorial Description

Plaque approx. 15 inches high x 18 inches wide (381 mm x 457 mm), mounted on a wood base approx. 1˝ inches wider all round. The plaque has a stepped centre top, the shape of which is echoed by the pattress. There is a single line border which also echoes the shape. There are badges in both top left and right corners. Letters are in Roman upper and lower case.

Notes

1. The Church is now Holy Trinity and St. Mary’s.

2. Lieutenant J.A.T. Robertson has a Every Name a Story entry.

3. The Newcastle Journal 16/06/1916 reports a special meeting of the Berwick vestry for assent to the application for a faculty for erecting a brass tablet to Lieut. Robertson and mentions the plaque to his cousin Lieut. Mac Robertson been dedicated in January.
