Unveiled 21st September 1921 by Mr. John Cairns, M.P.

Memorial Description

Plaque 4 feet high by 2 feet wide (1.21m x 608mm). This has been painted with brown opaque paint. At the top is a string of laurel leaves, and two laurel wreaths at bottom left and right corners. The letters are incised, using Roman capitals.

Notes

1. The names include William Tait, of the Cross Row, who died from wounds; and Miss Kate Bishop, a teacher who gained the Red Cross.
