Memorial Description

Organ modernized and enlarged.
There is a plaque 3 feet 8 inches high x 2 feet 2 inches wide (1.11m x 660mm) set in a moulded wood frame 4 feet 3 inches high x 3 feet wide (1.29m x 914mm) . At top is the school badge. The names are listed in three columns, divided into panels by white lines. All lettering is painted in white using Roman capitals.

Notes

1. The memorial included the following adjustments to the organ: (a) conversion to electric-pneumatic; (b) new modern console; (c) tonal enlargements required because of the size of the present hall, which included increasing the Great Organ from four to eight stops, the Swell organ from four to seven stops and the Pedal organ from two to five stops; (d) addition of appropriate couplers and accessories; (e) provision of an electric blower; (f) revoicing of all pipes.
