Present condition
Demolished, presumably by British Legion. The Priestman Institute was demolished in 1981.
Notes
1. Mr. Pratt says that it was put on the site of a gentleman's urinal which had been demolished, a fact which disgusted his father. It is thought to have been intended only as a temporary measure as a place where wreaths could be laid on Armistice Day until the memorial proper could be built.
2. Mr. Holland says that it was placed on the site of a urinal which leaked.
