Memorial Description

Plaque 12 inches high x 18 inches wide (304 mm x 457 mm). There is a decorated border round the edge culminating in an elaborate cross inside a circle in each corner. At the top is the badge of the Durham Light Infantry. Lettering is in upper and lower case elaborate script.

1. This was situated for a while on the wall of the landing of the stairs leading to the gallery.

2. St.James’s Church has been redesigned inside. All the memorials are now in a dedicated place at the top of the stairs, funded by War Memorials Trust.
