Memorial Description

Roll of Honour. At centre top, below the words “For God, King and Country!” are two crossed flags surmounted by the Salvation Army band. In the top left is a picture of a sailor in uniform, in the top right hand corner is a soldier, both with rifles at rest.

Below this are the names and information in six columns, all handwritten, with additions and corrections.

1. From the street names on this and the fact that the two who were killed are on the Chopwell War Memorials this is from the Chopwell Salvation Army Hall which was South Road, Chopwell.
