Notes
1. Included in the list are three who fell, a prisoner of war, two brothers who were decorated for gallantry, one with a D.F.C. and another with a Croix-de-Guerre. Another serving member was awarded the British Empire Medal.
2. The unveiling should have been carried out by Mr. Fred Collins, aged 80, who had been the club secretary for 24 years until he retired a year ago. However, he was indisposed, so it was done by his son, also called Fred Collins.
