Memorial Description

Roll of Honour 22½ ins high x 15 ½ ins wide (575mm x 390mm) set in a frame 26 ins high x 19¼ ins. wide (675mm x 495mm).
It is highly decorated in water colour with a border of leaves. At centre top, below the decoration, is a scroll containing the name of the church. At the bottom is a montage of leaves surmounted by a crown, two standards, and a scroll containing the words “Roll of Honour”. On the left is the single date “1914".
The central panel has been divided into two sets of columns headed “Name – Regiment-Remarks”. Names have been handwritten into the left hand column and is obviously incomplete.

Materials used

Cartridge paper set onto a Dahler type mounting board.
