Plaque, shield shaped, set on an oak pattress with the same shape. At the top are the Words “Pro Patria” in Old English lettering.

1. The club was started in 1934 by a group of local business and professional men who called a meeting at premises at 100 Dacre Street in the town, with the aim of forming a social club at Harton. Premises were secured in West Avenue at an annual rent of £40.
