Dedicated at St.Peter’s Church on Saturday 1st May 1993 by Rev. G. Lloyd, Vicar, and Sqdr.Ldr. D.S. Law, Padre of R.A.F. Leeming.

Memorial Description

Memorial Book. It is in a case with glazed top, about 4 feet (1.2m) wide. The blue padded leather cover is 11¾ inches high x 8½ inches (297mm x 216mm) wide. The badge of Bomber Command with the dates 1939 and 1945 are tooled in gold on each side, and the words “A Book of Remembrance”. The pages are lined. The names are hand written in a single column on each page on each alternate line. It is crudely done, with ranks such as “Sgt” spelt “S.G.T.”
