Memorial Description
Memorial Book. It is in a case with glazed top, about 4 feet (1.2m) wide. The blue padded leather cover is 11¾ inches high x 8½ inches (297mm x 216mm) wide. The badge of Bomber Command with the dates 1939 and 1945 are tooled in gold on each side, and the words “A Book of Remembrance”. The pages are lined. The names are hand written in a single column on each page on each alternate line. It is crudely done, with ranks such as “Sgt” spelt “S.G.T.”

1. Because there are so many photographs, and we can only use 20 photos per file, those for this Book of Remembrance have had to be split up between five files. Each file has all the information.
