Unveiled January 1925 by Mr. Thomas Scott, People’s Warden, in place of the Rector, who was ill.

Memorial Description

Roll of Honour approx. size 42ins square. There are with Grecian style columns and scrolled cushion tops at both sides. At centre top a dome contains a wreath with a cross inside. At the bottom is a shelf on which are two pots of silk poppies. On either side the words “Roll of Honour” are carved in relief. Below this, right across the plaque are the dates and the title of the club, carved and coloured black. The main central panel bears the dedication and names listed in four columns. The fallen are listed in the left hand column. Those who served are listed in the three other columns. All lettering is in sans serif capitals.

The memorial is in reasonably good condition although the wood is showing signs of fatigue due to the central heating in the hall.
