Memorial Description

Two rectangular plaques set in the same elaborate fame. The upper is the original to which the lower has been added. The upper plaque has an elaborate border of chevron design with leaves in the spaces. In each corner is a square device with leaves. At centre top in an oval frame on a chequered background is a scene of a soldier in front of a cannon and holding a rifle. The dedication is below this. The names are listed in two columns, each column set at an angle to the centre. Beneath these is a regimental badge, with the quotation under. The lettering is in a variety of fonts.
The plaque below is much smaller. The names are listed in three columns with a line between, using sans serif capitals.
