Unveiled ?9th July 1920 by Mrs. J.B. Graham of Eaglescliffe; dedicated by Rev. W. Medhurst.

Memorial Description

Organ comprising 305 Great organ pipes; 427 swell organ pipes and 42 pedal organ pipes.
There is a plaque with a hemisphere at each end in which are the dates of the Great War in red. There is a border of leaves. At centre top is a red cross, centre bottom is the “IHS” monogram, also in red. The panel is in three sections, divided by red vertical lines, with the dedication in the centre portion and the names listed in the two outer portions. Part of the lettering of the dedication is in Old English and Roman capitals, the rest is in sans serif capitals.
Below this is a plaque for 1939-45 made to equal the length of the one above. There is a single line border in red. The dates are in red at each end. The names are in a single line using sans serif capitals.
