Memorial Description

Rood suspended from the chancel arch. “The figure, instead of the suffering Christ, is represented instead as the risen glorified Saviour, not nailed to the cross, but exhibiting the marks of nails on His hands and feet”. The figure is vested and crowned and fully coloured.
A panel, 45 inches high and 30 inches wide (1400mm x 754mm) with rounded pediment bears the names in two columns, using lower case Roman lettering for the names and sans serif capitals for the dedication.
