Organ rebuild.
A plaque with a leaf border bears the dedication in Roman capitals.

Notes

1. The opening of the organ by Cllr. J.E. Nixon of Newcastle could not take place as planned as the contractor had failed to complete the work on time. Although the organist was there, he could not play the incomplete instrument and the programme would have to be curtailed.
