Chancel steps. A Brass plaque fixed to the steps bore the dedication.

White marble steps, brass plaque.

Inscription

To the glory of God and in loving memory of Sidney Marshall, of the London Regiment (London Scottish), second son of Frederick Brown and Margaret Elizabeth Marshall, presumed killed in action on July 1, 1916, during the Great European War, aged 25 years. Pro Deo, Rege et Patria. These memorial steps were the gift of his parents, sisters and brothers.
