Unveiled October 6th 1921 by Mr. D. Kemp, manager; dedicated by Rev. T. Wallace, Vicar of St. Mark’s.

Memorial Description

Plaque on granite block with dome at centre top which contains a wreath raised in half relief. Lettering is raised in relief and slightly burnished.
This panel is similar to the panels on the cenotaph at Jarrow..

Notes

1. This was unveiled on the same day as the cenotaph and plaques in the other departments of the firm. See Hebburn H93.07 and Jarrow J2.01, J2.05 and J2.28
