Members and honorary members of the 233rd Northumbrian Field Company.

Notes

1. The pictures included a photograph of “Harra”, or "Hazzar" a terrier, a mascot of the unit, who was killed at the front.

2. The memorial was to the memory of the Officers and NCOs of the Durham Field and Fortress Companies.

3. From the three field companies, 140 were killed.

4. Col. Wood regretted that the word “Durham” no longer appeared in the description of the unit.
