Memorial Description

Roll of honour. At centre top is a picture of the building surmounted by a shield, and set among a decoration of oak leaves. The name of the Reading Room is on a ribbon below this, with the words “Roll of Honour” underneath this. Down each side and along the bottom is a series of photographs, each set within a wreath, of those who died. At centre bottom are two flags with the words “Pro Patria” set within a cartouche between them. The words “The Great War 1914-19” are at the very bottom. On the main panel the names are listed in three columns, printed in Roman lower case lettering.
