In Berlin 1939-1945 War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 545207 Sergeant William Laverick, serving with the Royal Air Force who died 29/12/1943.

Son of Thomas and Lily Laverick, of West Cornforth, Co. Durham.

Sgt. Laverick was in a 35 Sqdn Halifax II B986 TL-G which took off from Graveley on a bombing mission to Berlin. The aircraft crashed near Döberitz. Six crew members were killed, one was taken prisoner.
