Heslop’s Local Advertiser 14/12/1945 carries a notice which reads:
Easton - 5, York Street, Pelaw, Keith, killed in Italy, Nov, 23rd, 1945.
The edition of 13/12/1947 has the name spelt as "Eston" which corresponds with the CWGC entry.
