Heslop’s Local Advertiser 24/11/1917

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 24/11/1917 carries a notice which reads:

“In Oct. 30th, Company-Sergt-Major A. Brown, 12th West Yorks, was presented with his Military Medal by Mr. H. Ward, whilst Mr. W.F. Ollman made the customary presentation of a watch, wallet and Treasury Note. Mr. G. Nicholson presided.”
