In Forli War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2886344 Corporal Thomas Grundy Donaldson, serving with the Gordon Highlanders who died 04/01/1945.

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 18/01/1947 carries a notice which reads:
“Donaldson – Pelaw, Tom, killed in action in Italy, Jan. 4th 1945.”
