On our files we have a letter from Alan Dyne which does not name the person about whom he was writing. We are guessing that this is the family. The letter reads:

"His mother sent money to the vicar to have red and white flowers put on her son's grave every year on November 11th. The vicar went to visit her in London and she asked him what would happen when she died. He suggested her ashes were scattered on her son's grave and this was done. Vicar paid for the mother's name to be added to her son's on the headstone."
