P/O (Pilot) George Rowan JACKSON, 413076, R.N.Z.A.F., 4 A.G.S., R.A.F. Morpeth

Killed in Blackburn Botha W5137, which collided with another Botha, W5154. They had taken off to take part in gunnery practice, and the two aircraft collided at 1200 feet in the circuit 2 miles east of Morpeth at 11.45 hours. All crews from both aircraft killed, as follows:
