Carston, G.W., Pte., 1917
On the Arras Memorial is the name of 202910 Private George William Carston, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 28/04/1917.

His family were originally from Whittingham. He was born in Alnwick and enlisted in Amble. He formerly served with the Northumberland Fusiliers with the service number of 7006.
