In Tynemouth (Preston) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of Lieutenant Wilfred Urwin serving with the Royal Air Force who died 19/11/1919.

The headstone reads:

In loving memory of
Lieut. Wilfred Urwin
R.A.F.
who died from the effects
of active service
in South Russia
Nov. 19th 1919, aged 20 years.

"No cross no crown"
