April 10th 1917
aged 28 years.

He resided at 1 Ryton Terrace Backworth and was in 'C' Company 24th Northumberland Fusiliers (1st Tyneside Irish) and was discharged on the 9th April 1917.

Soldiers Died in the Great War also says 1917.
