In Cambridge City Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1571657 Sergeant John Jackson Pattison, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 30/07/1945.

Sgt. Pattison was serving with 166 Sqdn. He was a crew member of Lancaster I PA 236 AS-B2 which took off on a ferry flight and crashed as it was coming in to land at Kirmington airfield.
