In Five Points Cemetery, Lechelle is the Commonwealth War Grave of 3/16808 Private Thomas Latty, serving with the Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment) who died 18/09/1918.

In Seghill (Holy Trinity) Churchyard) is a family headstone which reads:

In
Loving Memory
of
Robert Proudlock Latty
the beloved son of
Matthew & Margaret Latty,
of Dudley Colliery,
who died July 9th 1899
aged 19 years.
Two of their children died in infancy
Also of Pte. Thomas Latty, their son
who died from wounds received in
action Sept. 18th 1918, and was buried at
Lechelle, in France, aged 26 years.
Also of Esther Jane, their daughter
and beloved wife of R.W. Dixon
of Burradon
who died Novr. 29th 1918, aged 23 years.
The above Matthew Latty
died Sept. 14th 1925 and 66 years.

Thomas was born and lived in Dudley, near Cramlington. He served with 3rd Battalion.
