In Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux, Pas de Calais, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 10717 Sergeant Arthur Harrison, serving with the 13th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, who died 07/05/1917.

In Seghill (Holy Trinity) Churchyard) is a family headstone shaped like an open book which reads:

Morpeth Herald 01/06/1917 carries a brief obituary:

Mr and Mrs Harrison, Avenue Head Farm, Seaton Delaval, have been informed of the death of their eldest son, Sergt. Arthur Harrison, N.F., who died from wounds on May 7th. He enlisted at the beginning of the war at Morpeth, being then engaged by Mr Harris, Ulgham Park. In September, 1916, he received the Card of Honour. He was 24, and is the second son they have lost in the war.

HARRISON.- Died May 7th, 1917, from wounds received May 3rd, Sergeant Arthur Harrison, N.F., eldest son of William and Eleanor Harrison, Avenue Head, Seaton Delaval, aged 24.

His brother William also died in the Great War.

Arthur Harrison is remembered in Seaton Delaval on S7.03 and S7.10 and at Ulgham on U1.01
