Dunn, C.J., Cpl., 1916
In Rue-du-Bois Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix, Pas de Calais, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 21/182 Corporal C.J. Dunn, serving with the 21st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, who died 17/02/1916.

Morpeth Herald 25/02/1916 carries a brief obituary:

News has been received by Mrs Dunn, of 39, Foreman’s Row, Seaton Delaval, that her husband, Lance-Sergeant [sic] Jas. Dunn, 2nd Tyneside Scottish, has been killed in action. Lance-Sergeant Dunn was struck by shell fragments and died shortly afterwards. Deceased has been connected with the Seaton Delaval Football Club for some years, holding the position of treasurer at the time he enlisted. He leaves a widow and two children.
