In Cramlington (Mayfield) Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
my dear wife
Dinah Rutherford
passed to higher life
30th Sept. 1944 aged 55 years.
also
Thomas Edward Rutherford
eldest son of above
killed in action 5th March 1945
with Coldstream Guards
at Wesel Bridgehead
aged 32 years
William Rutherford
husband of the above
died June 30th 1948.
